Obituary of Dorothy M Hetrick

Dorothy M Hetrick, 89, Dorothy (McFarland) Hetrick, 89, wife of the late Robert E. Hetrick, died Sunday in the Manatawny Manor, East Coventry. She was born in East Coventry to the late Warren Y and the late Bertha (Lewis) McFarland. Mrs. Hetrick resided most of her life in Spring City, She was a 1938 graduate of the former Spring City High School. She was employed for many years as the cafeteria supervisor for the former Pennhurst State School in Spring City until her retirement. She was a member of St. Vincent United Church of Christ in Spring City and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Spring Ford Chapter # 518. Survived by a daughter: Barbara Mattis of Douglassville and a son: Richard Hetrick of Spring City, and two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a sister: Ruth Dare and brothers: Paul, Ernest and Harold McFarland. Relatives and friends are invite to attend her funeral service on Thursday at 11am at St. Vincent United Church of Christ 137 Ridge Road (Rt23), Phoenixville PA 19460, With the Reverend Benjamin Motz officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Her viewing will be held Thursday in church from 10-11am. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the St. Vincent United Church of Christ at the above address.
