David J. Moore, 58, Pottstown David J. Moore, 58, of East Coventry, husband of Marie (Evans), father of David E. Moore and Kyle M. Moore, died Sunday in Leisure Chateau Nursing Home, Lakewood, NJ after a lengthy illness. David was born in Phoenixville, a son to the late Richard C. and the late Lorraine (Jones) Moore. Dave was a graduate of Spring Ford High School where he played basketball and was the first Spring Ford Player to score 1000 points. He was a graduate of Albright College where he also played basketball. Dave was an Insurance Agent for many years, and insured generations of families. Dave coached basketball at the Phoenixville YMCA, and helped to start the Norchester Youth Basketball League. Dave also enjoyed spending time fishing. He is also survived by one Brother: Richard C. Moore and 2 nieces and a nephew. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Faith Baptist Church, 1015 Livingston Ave., Phoenixville with the Rev. Jack Tomkinson. Burial to follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Saturday at the church.
