Margaret M Amster, 89, Spring City Margaret M Amster, 89, a lifelong resident of Spring City died Friday October 31, 2014 in Phoenixville Hospital. She was born in Spring City to the late Wilbert Watts and the late Laura M (Keffer) Amster. A 1943 graduate of former Spring City High School, Margaret played field hockey and clarinet . As an adult she was and avid bowler at Limerick Lanes. In her later years, she enjoyed crafts of all kinds, and kept her mind sharp with jigsaw puzzles and the challenge of a word search. Margaret enjoyed people and was employed in customer service for PNC Bank and a life member of Zion Lutheran Church. Margaret had two siblings, the late Harold w. Amster and is survived by her sister Ruth Mathias of Lansdale. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 7, 2014 in Zion Lutheran Church, Route 724 & Bonnie Brae Road, Spring City with the Rev. Paul Townsend officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00AM to 11:00AM Friday at Zion Lutheran. Burial will be immediately following in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Spring City. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Zion Lutheran Church are being accepted. Arrangements are being made by Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home. On-line condolences can be made at www.sgsfuneralhome.com
