Mary Elizabeth Bickert, 86, Leesport Mary E. (Bereda) Bickert, age 86, wife of the late William F. Bickert, died early Tuesday morning in her daughter's residence, Leesport, PA. Mary was born in Bridgeport, PA a daughter to the late Hippolite and Mary (Barchock) Bereda. Mary was raised in Bridgeport and traveled throughout the states for most of her life. She spent the past eight years with her daughter in Leesport. Mary is survived by daughters: Mary Kerick-Rosenberger, Leona Holloway, and Cathy Cyman. Three grandchildren: Alicia Holloway, Laura Holloway and Thomas M. Kerick III, and a great granddaughter: Ava Skye Kerick. Mary is pre deceased by sons: John and William Bickert, and grandson Richard Holloway, in addition to all of her sisters and brothers. Mary would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received an offer she couldn't refuse. This offer comes with a reunion with family and friends that she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission takes her to a heavenly place where she will be socializing, dancing, gardening, crocheting, reading, and solving puzzles to her heart's content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her love for life, family and friends. She worked very hard all of her life, up until the very end. She made a difference in the lives of many. We invite you to join us and celebrate together. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday at 11am at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets (135 Bridge St.) Spring City.
