Raymond M. Ross, 76, Spring City Raymond M. Ross, husband of Gloria (Beamer) Ross, 76, died Thursday in Phoenixville Hospital. He was born in Wilkes Barre a son to the late Raymond and the late Raymond Ross, and the late Mary (Peters) Ross. A graduate of Phoenixville High School, Raymond resided most of his life in Spring City, he worked as for The Spring City Foundry until his retirement, and in addition, he enjoyed working at The Procter Wetherill Tree Farm in Chester Springs. Raymond was an avid deer hunter and he also enjoyed fishing. Raymond was a fan of The Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. He was a member of the Spring City Liberty Fire Company, The Thomas O'Connor American Legion Post 602, and The Friendship Hook and Ladder Company of Royersford In addition to his wife of 54 years, Raymond is survived by his Sons: David Ross, husband of Linda of Schwenksville, PA, and Dennis Ross; and his granddaughters: Kaleigh and Kelsey Ross. He is predeceased by his brother, Franklin Robert Ross. His Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Schuylkill Rd., Spring City, PA 19475 at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 20, 2015 with the Reverend Charles R. O'Hara officiating. Burial will be private in the Morris Cemetery In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in his memory to The SPCA of Chester County, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380 or www.ccspca.org.
