Mary Johnson, 93, Lafayette Hill Mary Johnson, 93, wife of the late Arthur Douglas and John Johnson, died Sunday in Spring Mill Presbyterian Village Lafayette Hills, PA. She was born in Norristown to the late Clayton Guy and the late Mae Rose (Amole) Smith. Mary resided all of her life in Norristown and was a life member of the Haws Aveuue United Methodist Church where she sang 40 plus years in the choir. Mary was formerly employed at the Norristown Area School District, and she is a retiree of Stroehmanns Bakery. Mary enjoyed knitting, sewing, and reading, she loved playing the piano. She is survived by her children, Beverly Carr, wife of William, Arthur Douglas Jr., husband of Mary, Gail Slick,, wife of Walter, Glenn Douglas, husband of Ann Marie, Donald Douglas, husband of Nancy, Jeffrey Douglas, Dale Douglas, husband of Sharon, and Denise Rosetti, wife of Anthony.; her twelve grandchildren, and her eleven great grandchildren, she is preceeded in death by her son, Durrell and brothers: Herbert and Daniel Smith. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Haws Avenue United Methodist Church, 800 W. Marshall St., Norristown, PA , Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:30 AM with visitation being held at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
