Robert William Hoffman 87 of Limerick, PA passed away on Sunday, July the 26th of 2015 at Seasons Hospice. Born in Pottstown, November the 6th of 1927. He was the son of the late Leidy and Annie (Kulp) Hoffman. He graduated from Pottstown High School in 1946 where he was known as The Duke for his impeccable attire. Mr Hoffman worked for S. Miller and Sons Clothier where he met his former wife Nancy Hoffman-Kurtas (Meredith). He started a successful janitorial business, Kleen-A-Way in the early 1960s and continued to work through 2011. Mr Hoffman was a wonderful and loving father to his children; Elizabeth (wife of Robert Siegel),William, Bruce, and Lisa (wife of Frank Rosetti). He was very proud of his grandchildren; Jennifer Wise (wife of Kyle Mc Daniel) and Nicholas Hoffman. Mr Hoffman enjoyed taking his family on trips to amusement parks, drive in movies, New York City or just long rides in his Lincoln Continental convertible with his children for ice cream. He loved Christmas, classic car shows and the sounds of the big band era. In his later years he resided with his beloved daughter Lisa and her husband Frank and dogs Libby and Blizzard. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He is predeceased in death by four brothers; Harold, Charles, Nelson and Kenneth Hoffman. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Seasons Hospice 140 Nutt Road, Phoenixville Pa 19460 Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral service at Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge St. Spring City, PA 19475 at 7:00 PM on Friday, July 31.
