Miriam H. (Haller) Nelson, 89, widow of Richard Nelson, died suddenly on Monday at Sanatoga Court. A graduate of the former Spring City High School, she was born in Spring City to the late Charles and the late Elma (Buckwalter) Haller. Miriam was an avid homemaker and, a wonderful person. A resident of the Spring City Area, she moved to Ocean City NJ, and wintered in Tarpin Springs, Florida. In addition, Miriam was a life member of The Zion Lutheran Church, Spring City, PA She is survived by her children, Susan Davis, wife of Larry of Spring City, James Nelson, husband of Jane of Hendersonville, NC, two sisters, Patricia Shantz of Limerick, and Charlotte Keller of Litchfield, CT; and her grandchildren, Sara Nelson, wife of Jason Buchalew of Florida, and Tara Rusiewicz, wife of Chris of Greensboro, NC; and her great grandchildren Brooke, Natalie and Cameron Rusiewicz. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her memorial service Saturday, April 2, 2016 at The Zion Lutheran Church, 39 Bonnie Brae Rd., Spring City at 12:30 PM with The Reverend Paul Townsend officiating.
