Phyllis (____________) Biggerstaff, 85, wife of the late Douglas W. Biggerstaff, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in the Manor Care, West Reading. Mrs. Biggerstaff was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Cochran) Hanebury and had been a longtime resident of Spring City and later, Birdsboro. She graduated from the former Spring City High School in 1941 and worked as a clerk typist for________________Meat Packers. Mrs. Biggerstaff was a former member of the Spring City Methodist Church and had also been involved with the Senior Center in Birdsboro. After retiring she enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. Mrs. Biggerstaff is survived by three children, Carlton Biggerstaff of Pottstown, Rose Mary Angelo of Parkesburg and Pete Biggerstaff of Birdsboro; two brothers, John and Jim ____________ and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Lila and Jessie.
