John Frank Custard, 68, Spring City John Frank Custard, 68, died Friday, January 6, 2017 in Seasons Hospice. He was born in Phoenixville to the late Alvin and the late Elizabeth (Almashi) Custard and was a long-time resident of Spring City. John worked as a grinder for the Spring City Foundry and was a member of the Thomas O'Conner American Legion Post 602 and the Spring City Liberty Fire Company. He enjoyed a good joke and sports, especially baseball. Sunday comics and assembling model cars were two of his favorite past times. John leaves behind two children: Tami Jones (husband, Donald) and Debbie Baker (husband, Ronald) of Royersford; six grandchildren: Chelsea Jones, Ron Baker, Jr., Nisha Baker, Steven Baker, Noah Baker and Maura Baker; three siblings: Robert Custard, Richard Custard and Elain Veno; and a loving companion Karen Snyder A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday January 12, 2017 in Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 135 Bridge Street, Spring City. with the Rev. Erick Kern officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:00pm Thursday in the funeral home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, PA. Burial will be private at the request of family. Arrangements are being handled by Shalkop, Grace & Strunk FH 135 Bridge St. Spring City, PA 19475. Online condolences can be made at www.sgsfuneralhome.com
