Obituary of H. James Reitnour, Jr.

H. James Reitnour, Jr., 85, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in Seasons Hospice.

He was born in Spring City to the late Harry and the late Sarah (Christman) Reitnour.  He had a love for farm life.  He enjoyed spending time with his Aunt and Uncle’s tending to their century old farm located on Reitnour Road in East Vincent Township.  To pay the bills, he worked as a heavy equipment operator in construction.  He loved collecting and tinkering with tractors.  James enjoyed music.  He played the guitar and sang with his band called JR Country.   

H. James loved family and country.  He served in the Army in the Korean War.

He leaves behind two children:  Robert James Reitnour of East Vincent Township and Linda Lee Boschi, husband, Ronnie of East Vincent Township.  A step granddaughter, Dr. Vanessa Boschi and two brothers: Dr. C.  Melvin Reitnour and C. Douglas Reitnour.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, July 2, 2017 in Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 135 Bridge Street, Spring City.

Visitation will be from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, PA.  Burial will be private.
