Joseph I. Kulp Sr., 81, Phoenixville

 

Joseph I. Kulp Sr.  81, died Sunday, April 8,2018 at his home in East Pikeland Township.

 

He was born in Phoenixville to the late Irvin and the late Anna (Moore) Kulp.  He lived and worked in East Vincent and East Pikeland for most of his life. 

 

He worked as a self-employed farmer and was known for his hard work ethic, but he loved farming as much as a good conversation.   He had the distinction of being the last dairy farmer in East Pikeland Township.  He also had been employed by TMac and Bud Reifsnyder.

 

Joseph is survived by his children, son, Joe Jr., of Midvale Idaho; and daughter Kimberly Kulp of Bethlehem; and his two sisters, Ruth and Margaret “Peg” Koch; and six  grandchildren.  He is predeceased by his sister Mildred.

 

Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at St. Vincent United Church of Christ, 137 Ridge Rd., Phoenixville, PA  19460 at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, April 14, with The Rev. Susan Hanson officiating.
