I just learned about Ed’s passing I know it’s been a while but I just now found out and have been thinking about him and Carol. He worked for me at my business H&K Auto and I couldn’t have found a more honest and upbeat person that worked for me. He was very dependable he’s the first person I hired that could run the shop when I took a week off for vacation and I never had to worry about what was happening or any of his decisions. I haven’t been in contact with them but I think about him often that’s how I found out about his passing by asking someone how he was. Ed was among the nicest people that I’ve met. I will honor his memory.

When the Kehr’s moved into our neighborhood on Benburb Road, it brought youth and vibrancy to us all. We watched their family grow, and it brought joy to my whole family. Ed was the most patient and kindest man in the world. He always had a smile on his face and loved being with his family. I’m so grateful I had time on this earth with Ed and the rest of his family. Love and prayers to all. Jacqui deNight

When my husband and I moved to Phoenixville thirty seven years ago Ed and Carole were the first neighbors we met. Ed, being the most senior member of the Frog Hollow was lovingly referred to as “ The Mayor”. He was a father figure to my husband as he had just lost his own dad. Ed gave great advice on everything from lawn care to child rearing. Those constant questions asked of Ed were what may have prompted him to move to State College! All kidding aside we missed them when they moved. We enjoyed their visits back to Phoenixville whenever they were in the area. In my husband’s words, Ed made him a better man, husband, and father. For myself, Ed was my dear friend and daily walking companion. I treasure the memories of our conversations. We are grateful to have know him. We are better people for having known him. God gave us a special man in Ed.
