I had the good fortune of getting to know Kris for a bit after joining his team at work about a month or so ago and the impression he left said a lot to me. It makes me smile remembering one of our last conversations, we were talking about one of our favorite movies "The Waterboy." It made me happy to see someone else enjoy quoting such a silly movie. Wish I could have had more time to get to know him, I am sorry for your loss.

I have known Kristian since he was born but didn't really know him, largely due to great geographical distances. I am sorry you are gone but you will not be forgotten. Rest in peace Kris. Uncle Joe

Kris, you said at your father's funeral in 2012, “We don't get to decide how other people remember us.” How fortunate we are, all of us who knew you, that the life you lived left us kind and loving memories of you. As long as your name is remembered your spirit will live with each of us who knew and loved you. Love, Oma

In remembrance of Kristian, his time at Clemson left indelible impressions on those fortunate enough to have known him. His propensity for thoughtfulness was remarkable, coupled with a heart vastly generous in spirit. His memory continues to encourage us towards kindness and generosity. Kristian's absence creates an irreplaceable void but his legacy will inspire us perpetually.
