My husband and I liked to refer to Gene as “Jackrabbit Gene” and he knew why. Very fond memories of sharing time/golf/happy hours in Myrtle Beach . I told Diane that I think Jackrabbit thought she walked on water. A Beautiful couple that we called Barbie and Ken. You will be missed by many. Rest in peace dear one.

The world has lost a very special & unique person..over the years, I had the pleasure of having a friendship with both Diane & Gene...what a wonderful couple! Diane, I am so sorry for loss you are experiencing....but I know the great family you have & great memories will help you get through this. Condolences to Gene's Family.... Diane..Gene..Mark..Kelly. From your Neighbor for over 40 years. MY FOND MEMORIES of Gene: In 1979 I moved to the Lucas Farm on Lucas Road & the Fields/Pastures were overgrown and Gene lent me his Old Red Farmall Tractor to help bring the Farm Property back to Life. Helping each other during some Brutal Some Storms & Floods that showed up over the years. Kelly...doing Family Photo Shoots on our Farm.
