Christine Marie Baldino, 68, Queens, NY
Christine Baldino, 68, passed away Monday May 25, 2020 unexpectedly at her new residence in Pottstown, PA.
She was born March 11, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Daniel Weinert and the late Sarah (Sweeney) Weinert. One of four children, Christine graduated from St. Edmund Preparatory High School in Brooklyn, then went off to Athen’s College in Alabama. She was married to the late James Baldino of Radnor, PA after college.
A very unique, colorful and much loved person full of joy and positivity; Christine was an extremely hard worker who enjoyed people. She was also an advocate for homeless and less fortunate then herself, right up to her passing.
Her work career expanded from a female Maître D at a private club in Manhattan, until later becoming a floral designer and shop manager in Queens. Woodside (Queens) is where she raised and worked diligently for the love of her life, her son Jamie Sangouthai who passed away at age 37.
Christine was the sister to younger brothers Tommy and Matthew (of NY) who have passed before her; and is survived by older brother Daniel Weinert and neice Dawn Masado, both in CA.
Christine moved to Pennsylvania this past February 2020 to rest and relax in the company of old friends; who love her deeply, as did anyone who knew her.
Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass June 22, 2020 at 11:00 that will be held in St. Joseph RC Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA with Rev. Charles O'Hara officiating.
