Obituary of Michelle Douglass

Michelle Douglass Burke of Pottstown passed away on Sunday, April 24th.  She was 48.  

Born in Phoenixville to Craig and Susan Douglass, Michelle spent her early life in Royersford where she attended Spring Ford Highschool, graduating with the class of 1991.  She went onto further her education at West Chester University with a degree in psychology.  She later met and married her love, (the late) Brian Burke.  Michelle spent time employed by Vanguard Investment Co and Iron Mountain with her latest employment being at Ice House Restaurant in Pottstown.  

Michelle leaves behind her father, Craig Douglass, brother, Kevin Douglass, step father, John Guest of Royersford and her beloved dog Blu.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan (Derix) Guest, and her husband, Brian Burke.  

Services are being held at R. Strunk Funeral Home located at 400 Main Street in Phoenixville on Tuesday, May 3rd, with visitation beginning at 10:00AM and memorial service to follow.  Interment is being held privately by the family at Fernwood Cemetery in Royersford at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please click Main Line Animal Rescue to make a donation in Michelle's name.
