Obituary of Eunice Good Miller

Eunice Good Miller, 91, passed away peacefully at Keystone Villa in Douglassville, PA April 16, 2025 following a brief illness. Born in Spring City, PA she was the daughter of the late Henry and Grace (Kolb) Good and was married to the late Floyd Miller for 63 years.
Eunice was born and lived almost her entire life on the family dairy farm in Spring City. She and Floyd spent ten winters living in Sarasota, Florida during retirement, a place they thoroughly enjoyed. She was a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite School and earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Valley Forge Christian College as a non-traditional student. She was a member of Vincent Mennonite Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school and was active with Summer Bible school. She loved good conversation, reading, learning, discussing current events, bus trips, cruising, and playing Scrabble and board games with her husband and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Gretchen McTavish and husband Robert of Sarasota, Florida, Peter Miller and wife LuAnn of Spring City, Rachel Young and husband Richard of East Greenville, James Miller and wife Darlene of Spring City, daughter-in-law Kimberly Miller of Mineral, Virginia; grandchildren Kate McTavish, John (Tatsyana) McTavish, Clinton (Brooke) Miller, Anthony (Valerie) Miller, and Eric (Laura) Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Sarah Selvarayan (Arul), Thomas (Adrienne) Miller, Grace Acevedo (Raul), Reuben Miller, Emma Miller, Breanna Flora (Evan), Alexis Dease (Scott), Carley Miller, Brandon (Elizabeth) Miller, Rosanna Tucker (Andrew) and Olivia Young and 19 great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws Joyce Tieszen (Edwin) and Alice Bontrager (Dennis) and brother-in-law Richard (Mary Ellen) Miller. Eunice is predeceased by her husband Floyd, five sisters, Edith Good, Ethel Souder, Arvilla Souder, Rhoda Dean, and Dorothy Weaver, and her son Michael.
Services will be Sunday, April 27, 3 PM, Vincent Mennonite Church, 39 Seven Stars Road, Spring City, PA 19475. Visitation will precede the service from 2:00-3:00 PM. Interment will be private in the Vincent Mennonite Cemetery.
