Obituary of Jeffrey Michael Gavin

Jeffrey Michael Gavin, 46, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on May 14, 2025. He was born on November 10, 1978, in Phoenixville, PA to Wayne L. Gavin and Dolores A. Nichols. Jeffrey was a resident of Philadelphia.

He was a graduate of the Technical College High School- Pickering Campus. He was a gifted baseball player, known for his love of the game and his natural talent on the field. Beyond sports, he was an avid fisherman, finding peace and joy by the water.

Jeffrey had a hands-on approach to life, and his skill with his hands led him to a successful career as a construction laborer, where he took great pride in his work. His dedication to his craft was reflected in every project he completed, earning the respect of those around him.

He was a devoted father to his two children, Sadie and Collin Gavin, and a loving son to his mother, Dolores. Jeffrey is also survived by his three brothers: Wayne Joseph "Joe" Gavin, Eric Gavin of Media, PA, and Robert Gavin of Savannah, GA. He leaves behind his eight nieces and nephews, as well as three cherished grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his father, Wayne L. Gavin. Jeff is the youngest of 42 grandchildren of John Gavin and Agnes C. Ingles.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Basil the Great Church, 2330 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460. A funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00 AM, officiated by Rev. John Stokley. A graveside service will take place shortly after at Calvary Cemetery, 2025 Old Gulph Road, Villanova, PA 19085.
