Gail P. Wellington, 85, of Limerick, PA, passed away on May 14, 2025.

Born on January 14, 1940, in Yonkers, New York, Gail was the daughter of the late James Wellington and Ardath (Sweet) Longdon.  She was raised in Utica, New York, and lived in various areas throughout New England.

Gail earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. Her career flourished in the technology industry, where she rose to become Vice President at Commodore Computers, serving for many years. As co-owner of Three Peas and A Pod Florists, Gail invested in her daughters dream and talent. After retirement she devoted much time to the community through the chamber of commerce, Art goes to school, Art fusion and various other organizations.

Gail had a lifelong appreciation for the arts. She loved to draw, knit, and garden—finding joy in these creative expressions. Her deep compassion and wisdom led her to become a mentor to many, touching countless lives with her warmth, intelligence, and generous spirit.

A resident of Limerick for the past 30 years, Gail is survived by her two loving children, Chandler Withington Jones III (Lisa) and Heidi Gail (Jones) Swartz (Shawn); her sister, Judith Wellington; and her grandchildren, Nicolas, Samantha, Jesse,  Patrick, and Caitlyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Robert "Jack" Wellington.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 PM at The Carousel at Pottstown, located at 30 W King Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
