


Obituary of Charlotte T. Luksic
Charlotte T. Luksic, 85, Phoenixville
Charlotte Luksic, 85, widow to the late Walter Luksic, passed away peacefully early Sunday June 8, 2025 at home.
One of three sisters, Charlotte was born November 28, 1939 in Clearfield County to the late Peter Mislosky and the late Rose Mislosky Shanechuck. Charlotte and Walter were long time Phoenixville residents and were members of both Sacred Heart Church and St. Basil the Great. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and nurturing her grandchildren – her legacy. Charlotte kept her hands busy tending to her gardens, puzzles, quilting and caring for others. She met regularly with her Red Hatters and having lunches with her dear friends. Charlotte enjoyed her many travel adventures and was always willing to go shopping.
Charlotte leaves behind her three daughters: Charlene, wife of David McArel from Georgia; Denise, wife of Kerry Burnley of Chester Springs and Cheryl Smola, wife of Larry of Phoenixville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; son, Terry Luksic and sister: Rosemary Bloom.
Charlotte has six grandchildren: Ryan, Eric, Shaina, Austin, Tyler and Jared and five great grandchildren: Blake, Emery, Brooks, Savannah, Parker and Baby Boy on the way.
All are invited to the Funeral service being held at the R. Strunk Funeral Home on Thursday, June 12th at 11 AM. Rev. Miachael Rzonca will preside. Friends are invited to visit with the family prior to the service at 10 AM in the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes Children’s research hospital in Charlotte’s name.
