Obituary of Laura Anne Kesner
Laura Anne Kesner, 60, passed away Monday June 9th, 2025, at home with her daughter, Nicole Barbara Kesner (23), by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 20th, 1964, in Albany, New York to the late Matthew Singleton Kesner Jr. and Barbara Jean Gibbons.
She graduated from Marlboro High School in New Jersey and then proceeded to graduate with a two-year degree from Katie Gibbs School in Montclair, New Jersey. She spent most of her career in supply chain and logistics and worked as a Project Manager for the past twenty years with Siemens Healthcare.
Laura loved to experience the beauty of the world through travel and live music. There was never a trip she wouldn’t jump at the opportunity to go on or a concert she didn’t like. She was able to see and explore Hawaii, China, Hong Kong, London, Holland, and Mexico. Laura also got the opportunity to road trip across the United States which led her to Oceanside, California. That trip was monumental as she ended up staying on the West Coast for 14 years. Laura’s other passion was music but especially attending concerts with her daughter, her most favorite being 21 Pilots and Train. Above all, Laura loved the beach and the serenity of the ocean.
Laura is survived by her adoring daughter, Nicole, her loving Stepmother, Bobbie Sue Kesner, her caring best friend Maureen Welch, and her brother Matthew Kesner III. She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews. In addition to her caring family, she had a multitude of friends that cheered her on during her struggle. She will be sorely missed by her fur babies Jasmine and Abu.
Please keep your remembrances of Laura close to your heart – it is what would mean the most to her and honor the impact she made on each of us.
