I am saddened to hear about Joan. Tried to call you Beckie but I must have had a wrong number. I have many great memories of Joan and have been thinking of her all week. Her friend and neighbor Eleanor Billig

I was not sure to call Eleanor but was hoping she got the message. They were best friends for so many years and us kids were best friends because of it. Our whole neighborhood were best friends and everyone's mom and dad were all our mom and dads. Thank you and mom still had fond memories and spoke about you guys often. Our families were all a family. I still remember as a young girl, the day Eleanor called me in to do her dishes because she heard I liked washing dishes. Lol yeah not anymore. Well it was all a setup so mom could get my surprise birthday party ready. Give her a big hug from me and a bigger one from mom.

Joan was like a grandmother to us. We loved her dearly and as much as it saddens us to hear of her passing, we hope everyone takes comfort in knowing that she’s back with the love of her life and keeping him in line up there in heaven.

She spoke of you guys often. They loved the kids and dad especially loved the free food from Foresta's lol. You knew dad and his freebies. Thank for being great neighbors to my parents and your adopted grandparents .
