Obituary of Robert H. Quinty
Robert “Bob” H. Quinty, 67, Royersford
Robert Quinty, devoted husband, father and friend, passed away suddenly Thursday July 17, 2025 on his morning walk at Manderach Park.
One of two children, Robert was born June 30, 1958 in Norristown to the late Theodore Quinty and the late Patricia DeMatthews. He was a gifted man with a brilliant mind. Bob received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry at Drexel University and later in life pursued his MBA at Villanova. He was an avid reader and had an amazing memory for facts and dates. Bob worked for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals for over 20 years. Bob recently retired from Adamas Consulting.
Robert was a member of St. Josephs Parish, Spring City and the Pottstown Elks #814.
He leaves behind his wife, Marianne LaRosa Quinty and son, Joseph “Joe” Quinty. A sister: Barbara Nieweg (wife of Mark) and brother-in-law; Robert “Bob” J. LaRosa (husband of Carol) and sister-in-law: Margaret LaRosa and many cousins.
A funeral mass will begin at 11:30 on Friday, July 25, 2025 at St. Josephs RC Church, 3640 Schuylkill Rd, Spring City, PA 19475; visitation for friends and family will be from 9:30-11:30.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph’s RC Church in Bob’s memory: 3640 Schuylkill Rd, Spring City, PA 19475.
