Anthony “Snooky” F. Bari, 86
Anthony “Snooky” F. Bari Sr. of East Coventry, PA, passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on December 4th in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Michael and Viola Bari. Snooky is survived by his sister, Rose Gross, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joe and Bob Bari, and his sister, Carolyn Bari.
Snooky owned and operated Christman Seafood, his family business, for many years. After the seafood store closed, he worked for MacKissics and also ran a side business repairing washers and dryers until his retirement. But even after retirement, he couldn’t sit still. He continued to work for another 20 years, helping his son, Tony, with construction projects.
Snooky was married for 59 years to the love of his life, Patricia Bari, who predeceased him in July 2023. He often reminisced about meeting Patricia at a Phoenixville dance, and he always said she was the prettiest girl in the room. Together, they enjoyed trips to the casino, cruises with friends and family, and most of all, spending quality time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Known for his humor, quick wit, and generous heart, Snooky was the life of every gathering. He captured the hearts of all who knew him and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Anthony is survived by his three children:
- Anthony (Tony) Bari Jr., his fiancée Michele Miner, and her daughter Brianna (his granddaughter);
- Kevin Bari, his wife Deborah Bari, and their three children: Kevin (grandson), Jacob (grandson), and Taylor (granddaughter);
- Alicia Bari, and her three children: Brianna Torres (granddaughter), Angelo Torres (grandson), and Janaiya Baker (granddaughter).
He is also survived by three great-grandchildren: CJ, Julian ("Juju"), and Navaeh.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
