Obituary of Heather D. Murphy
Heather Dawn Murphy, 47, Royersford
Heather Murphy, 47, born December 29, 1977, loving wife of Chad Mountcastle and mother of Alayna and Grayson Gadzicki passed away Saturday, September 6, after a valiant fight against cancer. Heather was one of three daughters, born to Linda (Krasley) Burris and the late Lawrence E. Murphy.
A lifelong resident of Royersford, Heather graduated from Spring-Ford High School in 1996. Strength is a word that comes to mind for many when thinking of Heather. She loved spending her time with family, friends, traveling, the beach, reading, and camping. She dedicated over 25 years to the Spring-Ford Country Club, where she became known for her hard work, versatility, and commitment—qualities that made her an invaluable part of the organization and everyone’s life she was a part of, especially her children’s. She worked hard every day to give them everything they deserved and everything they needed. Heather was a beautiful person, inside and out; and she will be fiercely missed forever.
Heather leaves behind her husband, Chad; Children: Alayna and Grayson; mother: Linda (Step Father Fred Burris); Sisters: Melissa (husband Michael) and Shilyn (fiancé Steve) Step Sisters: Blair and Kelley; Aunts: (Maggie, Kathy and Shawnanne) Uncles: (John, Drew and Dan) Nieces: (Brooke, Skyla, Emma, Scarlett, and Sophia); Nephews (Justin, Stephen, Danial and Kenny) her best friend, Erin and many others that dearly love her.
