Obituary of Stanley A. Giera

Stanley A. Giera, 72, of Spring City, passed away surrounded by love and laughter, just as he lived his life. A devoted father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. Stan was known for his big heart, quick wit, and generous spirit.

He was happiest outdoors—whether gathered around a campfire, casting a line while fishing, or enjoying the simple joy of feeding the squirrels. A true jokester with a contagious sense of humor, Stan never missed an opportunity to make someone smile. He loved playing cards, cheering on the Phillies, and lending a helping hand—always ready to say “yes” whenever someone needed him.

Born to the late Helen G. (Mendrey) Giera and stepson to the late Hazel Giera, Stan’s warmth and kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

He is lovingly survived by his daughters, Steffanie Neskie (Jon) and Danielle “DJ” Giera (Mark); his sisters, Christine Morris (Bob) and Kathleen McGee (Rick); his niece, Ashley Beutler (Nate); and his cherished grandchildren, Jenna, Laila, Samira, and Kylie.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 7, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA 19475. Visitation will precede the service from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the church.
