

Obituary of William F. Gable
William Frank Gable, 72, of Phoenixville, passed away peacefully at his home on November 10, 2025.
Born and raised in Phoenixville, Bill was the son of the late Ernest Gable and Bessie (Sabadosh) Gable. He was a 1972 graduate of Phoenixville High School and grew up as a member of Parkside United Church of Christ. Bill married the love of his life, Deborah Ann (Rosmos) Gable, and together they shared 47 years of marriage filled with devotion and countless memories.
Bill worked as a laborer for BF Goodrich for over 13 years. He loved his job and the community that was created from working at the plant. Bill had a passion for antiques and enjoyed exploring flea markets in search of unique treasures. He loved spending time at the beach in Ocean City, Maryland, a place that brought him great joy and peace. Bill also invested his time in the community by coaching youth baseball for KYAL, where he inspired and encouraged many young athletes.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; two sons, William Stephen Gable (Viola) and Justin James Gable; and two cherished grandchildren, Chloe and Jordan, who brought him immense pride and happiness. Bill is also survived by his brothers, Ernest Gable (Barbara) and Thomas Gable; and his sisters, Louise Schantz (The Late Donald) and Barbara Chirsano (Michael).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Rittenbaugh.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation beginning at 10:30 AM. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.rstrunkfuneralhome.com.
Bill will be remembered for his love for family, his quick wit, and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
