Mary Elaine (Kraft) Suriano, 76, of Phoenixville
Mary Elaine Suriano, 76, beloved wife of Peter Suriano Jr., passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Reading Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Phoenixville, Mary was one of eight children, born on October 26, 1949, to the late Thomas and Helen (Morgan) Kraft. She married the love of her life, Peter, and found her greatest joy in raising and caring for their three children.
Mary’s deepest love was her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—especially a good scratch-off card, just in case she “made it big.” She had a caring heart for all animals, especially for Tiger and Baby. Her door was always open for family, friends and those in need.
Mary leaves behind her devoted husband of 56 years, Peter Suriano Jr., and their three children: Christina L. Bergey (Brian), Peter T. Suriano (Su), and Anthony J. Suriano (Sarah). She is also survived by three siblings: Louise Parker, Dave Kraft, and Carl Kraft; and six cherished grandchildren: Morgan, Jacob, Peter, Nicholas, Anthony, and Ian.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Thomas Kraft and Gus Kraft, and her sisters Helen Yosko and Donna Good.
A visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
