Obituary of David Patrick Gaffey
David Patrick Gaffey, 61, of Spring City, husband to the late Victoria Houser, passed away at his home on December 28, 2025.
A longtime resident of Spring City, David attended Spring-Ford High School. He was a loyal and caring friend who valued the relationships in his life and treated many as family. In his younger days, David had a deep love of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, camping, riding mini bikes, and spending time in the mountains—activities that brought him peace and joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his parents, David and Carol (Gombos) Gaffey of Spring City; his sister, Christine Mallozzi, wife of Joseph Mallozzi of Royersford; his niece, Samantha Mallozzi of Quakertown; and his nephew, Justin Mallozzi of Collegeville. He is also survived by close friends who were like family to him, Gregory and Michael Francis, both of Spring City.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street Spring City, PA 19475. A visitation with the family will be held prior at 1:00 PM.
