Obituary of Dorothy Y. Feairheller

Dorothy Y. Feairheller, 85, of Royersford, PA, passed away on January 11, 2026. Born on April 5, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Olock) Yanocha. A lifelong resident of Royersford, Dorothy graduated from Spring-Ford High School in 1958 and remained connected to her community throughout her life.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of John “Jack” Feairheller and a devoted mother and grandmother. Known affectionately as “Babcia” to her grandchildren, she cherished every moment spent with her family. Dorothy had a wide range of interests—she loved to travel, play golf, watch QVC, admire hummingbirds, and collect Polish pottery. She was a member of the Women’s Club of Royersford and dedicated many hours to volunteering, always eager to lend a helping hand.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, John Feairheller; her son, Joe Feairheller and his wife, Anne Marie; her daughter-in-law, Linda Feairheller; her brother, Henry “Butch” Yanocha; her sister, Barbara Yanocha; and her cherished grandchildren, John and Patrick.

She was predeceased by her parents; her children, John and Shelley Feairheller; and her brother, Ed Yanocha.

A memorial service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held January 22nd 2026 at the Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, PA 19475 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10 AM.
