Obituary of Thomas E. Herbert Jr.

Thomas Evan Herbert Jr., known as Tom, 82, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on February 11, 2026 in Paoli, PA.

A memorial service will be held at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk funeral home on March 12, 2026 at 12:00 pm. Military Honors and a private burial will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 E. Arcadia Drive, Limerick PA 19468. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on March 12 at 11 am, prior to the service.

Thomas Evan Herbert Jr. was born in Pottstown, PA to Thomas Evan Herbert Sr. and Ruth Madeleine Williams. He went to high school at Spring-Ford area high school and graduated in 1962. After serving in the Air Force during Vietnam, Tom owned and operated Car Color and Autobody Supply for over 30 years. He enjoyed Tae-Kwon-Do, pigeons, and restoring 1955-1957 Chevy Belairs.

Thomas Evan Herbert Jr. is survived by his daughter, Megan Herbert Taborda of Orlando, FL; his godson Justin Napoli, of Pottsville, PA; his sister, Madeleine Haines, of Zephyrhills, FL; his cousin Larry Williams, of Spring City, PA along with several cousins residing in the New Milford, Susquehanna, and surrounding area of Pennsylvania. He is preceded in death by his parents.
