Obituary of Patricia Nimmo

Patricia Nimmo, 81, Phoenixville

Patricia Nimmo, 81, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Born on August 10, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Coleman Romine and Margaret (McClellan) Romine. Known affectionately as “Pat” or “Tricia” to those closest to her, she spent much of her life in Florida, where she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami. She briefly returned to Baltimore to pursue her graduate studies, receiving her Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, before returning to Florida where she lived from the 1980s through 2022, when she moved to Phoenixville, Pennsylvania with her daughter.

Prior to her decades-long career as a management analyst with the U.S. Navy, Pat once worked for the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare in Harlem, New York City, where she dedicated herself to helping others. This unconditional compassion along with her insatiable love of knowledge and learning was the foundation of her generous spirit.

Pat is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Paisley McClellan, as well as her stepson Scot Nimmo and his family (wife Regina; son Hunter) of Orlando, FL, and her stepson Stacy Nimmo and his family (wife Jennifer; son Max) of Sausalito, CA.
