Ella Nora Wall, Royersford, PA , 83,

Ella Nora Wall, 83, of Royersford, PA, widow of the late Peter Wall, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Phoenixville Hospital.

Born on June 3, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland, Ella was one of five children. She graduated from Eastern High School and received her LPN from Mercy Hospital before continuing her education to become a Registered Nurse. Throughout her nursing career, she worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital as well as other healthcare facilities, eventually retiring from a career specializing in geriatric nursing.

Affectionately known as “Mom Mom” and “Grandmom,” Ella was known for her fun-loving spirit, compassion, and kindness towards others. While living in Shrewsbury, she volunteered at the local library, assisting with the English as a Second Language program. In her retirement years, Ella dedicated more than ten years of service to The Clinic of Phoenixville. She also enjoyed winning at Bingo and spending time with friends through her memberships at the VFW and other local social organizations.

Ella is survived by her daughter, Karen Riefner; her son, Derek Pierce and his wife, Denise; her three grandchildren, Mikaela Riefner, Dylan James Pierce, and Angelina Pierce; her great-grandchild, Giovel; and her longtime companion, Joe Gancasz.

A Time of Remembrance will be held at 7:30 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Family and friends are invited to visitation from 6:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
