Obituary of Connie S Erb

Connie S. Erb (née Bridges), beloved wife of Glenn Erb, of Pennsburg, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

Born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, Connie was the daughter of the late Erman and Camma (Lindley) Bridges. After marrying Glenn, Connie moved to Royersford, Pennsylvania, where she lovingly raised her family and spent many happy years. She later relocated to Pennsburg.

Connie dedicated over thirty years of service to the former Genuardi’s Grocery Store before her retirement. She was known for her loyalty, warm heart, and positive outlook on life. Connie especially enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family, who meant everything to her.

In addition to her devoted husband, Glenn, Connie is survived by her loving children, Debbie Erb and Tammie Erb (Nicholas); her cherished grandchildren, Gabrielle Lent (Brett Straughan) and Allegra Jackson (Seth Slotter); and her adored great-grandchildren, Selena, Magnolia, and Leo.

She was preceded in death by her two baby children: Glenn Jr. and Connie and  siblings, Doris, Dorothy, Jean, Stella, Robert, Frederick, Lawrence, and Joseph Bridges. Connie is also survived by her sister, Julia and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Connie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of R. Strunk Funeral Homes(Spring City & Phoenixville).
