Richard "Richie" G. Smith, Jr., 66, Royersford

Richard Smith, Jr., 66,  loving brother, son and uncle unexpectedly passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026.

He was born July 16, 1959 in Camp Lejeune, NC  to the late  Richard Smith, Sr. and Marilyn (Pointon) Henzie.  Richie went to Upper Merion High School, and was retired from the Pepsi-Cola company. An excellent cook and baker, he was also an ardent lover of music and plants, passing those passions along to his friends and family. 

The oldest brother of the three children, Richie always looked after his siblings and now his mother.  He loved his family deeply.  He leaves behind his mother, Marilyn Henzie, Sisters: Monica Devane and Leslie Smith; niece, Haley Devane Tribendis (Andy) and his great nephews and great niece:  Sammy, Charlie and Josephine Tribendis.
