Obituary of Anthony W. Trzaska

Anthony “Tony” Trzaska passed away, at his home, on Aug. 6.   He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sarah “Sally” Trzaska, his children Michael Trzaska (Krysten) and Tamara Hudson (Neil), grandchildren Luke, Xavier, and Kazimiera Trzaska and step grandchildren Olivia Kumler, Lucas and Gavin Deaner, and Kiani Hudson. Tony also left behind many loved friends and family, many who unofficially adopted him as an honorary parent.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Kazimiera Trzaska, and his brother, Walter Andrews.

Tony was a graduate of Frankford Highschool, Millersville University, and Temple University.  He taught in the Philadelphia School System for 34 years.

Tony had an uncanny ability to pick a project and teach himself how to make it perfect. Tony was a passionate woodworker and craftsman, whose work lines his families’ homes. He loved the idea that he could make something with his hands and know that he left an area better than he found it. Tony also had occasional “super human” abilities that his family can still not explain. He was an author of family histories and dove deep into personal and national histories. He was a friend to all animals and the fortunate animals in his home were family. The list of his talents is long, but most of all, he loved his family and brought smiles to their faces daily.

Services for Tony will be held at R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville PA 19460 on Wednesday, Aug. 12.  Visitation will be from 10am to 11:30am, with a service following.    Guests are invited to a luncheon at Spring Hollow Golf Course, 3350 Schuylkill Rd, Spring City Pa 19475 following the service.   Burial services will be held on Thursday, Aug 13 at Eby Cemetery, 53 W. Eby Road, Leacock, PA 17540 at 11am.
