Obituary of William E. Apgar

William E. Apgar, 61, Spring City William E. Apgar, 61, died Wednesday, November 22, at his home at Whitehall, in East Vincent Township. He was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to the late George Marshall and the late Carol Ruth (Perdon) Atgar. William was a disabled veteran, having served during the Vietnam war in the United States Navy. He loved working with landscaping and the outdoors. He is survived by his daughter, April Planck, wife of Matthew of Jackson, New Jersey; brother, Daryl Apgar of Brick Township, New Jersey; sister Shirley Apgar of Brick Township, New Jersey; and two grandchildren, Lincoln Edward Planck, and Scarlett Monroe Planck. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sons, William Apgar, II, and Anthony Robert Apgar; and is brother, George Marshall Apgar III. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Whitehall Veteran Housing, Mission First Housing, 2042-48 Arch St., Second Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103 Funeral services will be held privately, at a later date.
