John T. "Tom" Chuck, 68, Spring City
John T. Chuck, 68, husband of Theresa “Terrie” (Fabian) Chuck died Monday, May 20,2019 in Seasons Hospice.
He was born in Phoenixville to the late Demetrus and the late Anna (Sodaski) Chuck.
A 1968 graduate of St. Pius High School, he was born and raised in Phoenixville then lived in Spring City. He then became a member of the National Guard. Tom had many business ventures including wholesaling, commercial recycling and also owned a grocery store.
He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Spring City as a member of the men’s group and as a volunteer. Tom was one who always had a good joke to tell, and he had a great sense of humor.
In addition to his wife, Terrie, of 46 years, he is survived by his two children, daughter, Missy Lopez of Sanatoga and son, Daniel Chuck of Douglassville; Son in law, Noel Lopez and twin grandsons, Anthony and Derek Lopez.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Robert Chuck.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral mass at St. Joseph Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City on Saturday, May 25 at 11:00 AM, with the Rev Charles O’Hara officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Phoenixville, PA 19460 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM; and on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at. St. Joseph Church 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City 19475. Burial will be at the St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in his memory to St. Joseph Church, 3640 Schuylkill Rd. Spring City,
