Obituary of Harry George Jefferies

Please share a memory of Harry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Harry George Jefferies, 63, Collegeville

The world is a little dimmer without Harry in it.  Harry was born at Montgomery Hospital in 1960 and grew up in Conshohocken, PA.  He later moved to Audubon, where he lived for over 30 years, and most recently, he lived in Collegeville, PA.

Harry graduated from Temple University with a Marketing degree and led a successful career as a sales account manager and director. Throughout his career, he consistently proved to be invaluable at every company he worked for, consistently going above and beyond what was expected of him.

He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed spending quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.  He loved to travel, especially to places with beautiful beaches or to ski out west.  Harry also enjoyed spending afternoons on his boat in the Florida Keys, cultivating and designing beautiful landscapes at his home, focusing on various home improvement projects such as renovating kitchens and bathrooms, and attending to any tasks that needed his attention.

Harry will be remembered for his thoughtfulness and commitment to all his family and friends.  Although he was a quiet man, his actions spoke volumes about the person he was.

Harry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary (Dillon) Jefferies, his three children and their spouses, Chris Jefferies (husband of Danielle Jefferies), Michael Jefferies (husband of Renee Tholey), Jennifer McNay (wife of Andrew McNay), his seven grandchildren Cullen Jefferies, Marlena Jefferies, Nathaniel Jefferies, Audrey Jefferies, Henry Jefferies, Ronan McNay, and Siggi McNay, his siblings Beverly Salvia (wife of Joseph Salvia), Granville Jefferies (husband of Rose Jefferies), Doranne Bigelow (wife of Tuck Bigelow), John Jefferies (husband of Jim Arbuckle), (Val Jefferies wife of Charles Jefferies).  He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Rita Jefferies, and his brother, Charles Jefferies.

A Memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 20th, at St. Eleanor’s Church in Collegeville.  Visitation will be held in the church from 10:00 - 11:00 am, with a mass following at 11:00 am. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA are handling all arrangements.
