Obituary of Glenn A. Miller

Please share a memory of Glenn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Glenn A. Miller died peacefully on April 24, 2024, after a brief illness.

Glenn’s love of the outdoors united his favorite activities. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a longtime president of the Ches-Mont Rod & Gun Club. He maintained a vegetable garden since his youth, proudly showcasing and sharing what he grew. He also loved golfing and was one of the longest members of the Liberty Firehouse Golf League.

Glenn graduated from Spring City High School. Before retiring, he worked for Boiler Engineering and Supply Company, for Schwab Oil Company, and in self-employment.

Glenn was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Edna (Bauer), and his beloved wife of 61 years, Rosemarie (Speckhart) Miller.  He and Rosemarie enjoyed traveling widely.  They attended St. Teresa of Calcutta Church, after which Glenn attended St. Joseph Church in Spring City.

Glenn is survived by his sister, Shirley Yost (Joseph Moore); brother-in-law, Stephen Speckhart; his four children, Scott Miller (Pamela Nyce), Pamela Donahower (William F. Donahower IV), Michael Miller, and Mark Miller (Riste Vaher); and his six grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Rd, Spring City, PA 19475.  Friends are invited to visit with the family prior to the service on Monday, at 9:30 AM.  Burial will be immediately following at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Parkerford, PA

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Glenn's honor to The Nature Conservancy or St. Joseph's RC Church.
