Obituary of Joseph Michael Smith

Joseph Michael Smith, 70, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at home. He was born January 22, 1953 to the late Joseph Hickman Smith and Evelyn Irene Smith.

 

Joseph enjoyed living in the Spring City area at the Flag House and was an avid race car enthusiast.

 

Joe/Mike was survived by his three daughters, Sheri Smith (Husband, Kris Collins), Karen Cole (Husband, the late George Cole) and Lisa Stringfellow (Husband, Gregory Stringfellow), two Brothers, Randy and Mark Smith, two sisters, Sharon Davis, and Donna Kolle, and six grandchildren, Jasmine, Alanna, Aliyah, Audrey, Kara, and Kaiden. Joe/Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Veeda Niemczuk.

 

A celebration of Joe/Mike’s life will be held Friday, August 18th at 10 am. At the Shalkop, Grace and Strunk Funeral home. Friends are welcome to visit with the family prior to the service at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street Spring City, Pa. 19475. Interment of the ashes will be private at Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford.
