Shelmar L. Custard, 63, Royersford Shelmar L. Custard, 63, died peacefully Tuesday, February 16 in Parkhouse At Providence Pointe. She was born in Phoenixville to the late Shelton and Madeline (Patton) DuVall. She spent most of her life in the Spring City area where she was a member of the First United Church of Christ. Shelmar was blessed with three children: Richard Custard, Jr of Spring City, Mark Tannehill of Phoenixville and Shanelle Tannehill of Phoenixville and three grandchildren: Aiden, Devin and Aubrey Tannehill. She is also survived by her four sisters: Iris Swearrer of Alaska, Bessie Custard of Royersford, Evelyn Gelormino of Ohio and Annette Duvall of Spring City. And Brother: Shelton Duvall of Royersford. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Monday February 22, 2016 in Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 135 Bridge Street, Spring City. With the Rev. Erick Kern officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:00 PM Monday in the funeral home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, PA. Burial will be private. Online tributes can be made at www.sgsfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are being handled by Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home.
