Obituary of Teresa K. "Tisa" Taylor

Please share a memory of Teresa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Teresa Taylor Teresa Taylor, or Tisa to those who knew and loved her, passed away on February 16th. Although Tisa was a strong fighter, she could not defeat the cancer that took her away from her family and friends. Her friends and family provided company and support as she let go of this world. Her niece Angie Miller and great- niece, Cara Miller, provided so much of this support for her. They cared for her and made her laugh and feel safe. Tisa will be missed by her 12 nieces and nephews, and 11 great nieces and nephews as well as her brother-in-law, and many close friends. She has joined her brother, parents, and her beloved sister, Nancy, in a joyous and, we’re sure, loud family reunion. In this life, Tisa enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially softball and baseball. She was an avid Giants fan. In heaven, there better be a softball game she can play now that she has left her earthly cares and pains behind. Tisa graduated from Lewisburg Area High School in 1966 and Lock Haven College in 1970. She taught in Pennsylvania and New York for many years, ending her career as a guidance counselor. She moved to Phoenixville, PA after her retirement to be near her family. She was loved deeply and was loved in return and will be missed by all who knew her and spent time with her. In lieu of flowers, those who want to honor her memory may send donations to The Green Church 1501 Middletown Road Glen Mills, PA 19342. A memorial service is being planned, and details will follow later.
