Beatrice S. Custer, 92, Collegeville
Beatrice S. (Shoemaker) Custer, 92, widow of Irvin Custer, died Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Columbia Cottage.
Affectionately known as Bea, she was born in Pottstown to the late Ivan and the late Laura (Hackman) Shoemaker.
She worked as a Home Maker and raised four devoted children.
Bea is survived by her four children: Kenneth Irvin Custer, wife Cindy Lynn Custer of Georgetown, DE; Laura Lynne, wife of the late Ronald Clark of Oaks; Steven A Custer, husband of Jennifer L. of Largo FL. And Diane E. wife of David Smith of Lafayette Hill; six grandchildren: Craig, Jessica, Caden, Christian, Daniel, Derek; and three great grandchildren: Ella Rose, Avery Marie and Madison Grace.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday in Zion Lutheran, Route 724 & Bonnie Brae Road, Spring City. With the Rev. Thomas Lang officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:30 PM - 8:00PM Wednesday, November 9, 2016 and 10:30-11:00 am Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Route 724 & Bonnie Brae Road, Spring City, PA. Burial will be immediately following in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Spring City. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church.
