Daniel W. Kaicke, 60, Phoenixville Daniel W. Kaicke, 60, husband of Nancy (Wright) Kaicke died Thursday May 31, 2018, in the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was born in Phoenixville to the late Fred and the late Violet (DeLuzio) Kaicke. Daniel attended Phoenixville High School and Chester County Vo- Technical Institute. He spent his entire life in the Phoenixville area. Daniel had a passion for music, his instrument of choice was the guitar. After high school, Danny traveled with Dick Clarke. He was a back up lead guitarist and pursued a career with guitar for many years. He played with various artists including: Chuck Barry, The Chanells, Frankie Avalon, Tiny Tim and many more. Later in life he worked locally in auto parts delivery for Napa Auto Parts and The Spring Ford Car Wash. He is survived by the love of his life, Nancy. A step daughter, Shannon Coine of Spring City, step sons: Jon and Mark Nalencz of Pottstown, brother: David Daicke (husband to Merle) of Florida and nephew: Fred Kaicke; seven grandchildren: Jordan, Juda, Rosa, Dominic, Kimberly, Mark & Samantha and two great grandchildren: Shawn and Ethan. Preceeding him in death were two grandchildren: John Nalencz, Jr. and Vince Nalencz. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.sgsfuneralhome.com.
