Leroy A. Boyer, Jr. 81, Upper Pottsgrove

Leroy A. Boyer, Jr., age 81 passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at home with his loved ones surrounding him.  He was born in Spring City, PA to Leroy and Emma (Fox) Boyer.  He was a resident of Pottstown, PA for the past 8 years, formerly of Spring City, PA.  Leroy delivered milk for Bechtel’s Dairy and Clover Farms, worked at Bauchmann and drove delivery truck for Swann’s Pantry prior to retiring.

Leroy enjoyed working on cars, going to car shows, camping at Birchview Campground and spending time with his family.  He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

He was an outstanding husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.

Leroy is survived by his loving wife, Barbara.  He is also survived by his children, Leroy A. Boyer, III (Gary Walters), Cheryl Endy (Jeff Endy), Donna Russell, Keith Boyer (Kim Boyer), and his beloved grandchildren Shaun Endy (Jessica Endy), Justin Endy (Sara Endy), Brandon Endy, Amanda Boyer, Casie Boyer, Emilee Herrmann, and his beloved great-grandchildren Landon Boyer, Blake Endy, Jacob Endy, step great-grandchild Grace Moore and two sisters:  Eileen Hallman (Paul Hallman) and Mildred Evans.

A Life Celebration will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Shalkop, Grace & Strunk FH, 135 Bridge St. Spring City, PA 19475.  Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:30AM – 11:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be immediately following at Limerick Garden of Memories.  All arrangements are being handled by Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home.  Online condolences and more information can be found at www.sgsfuneralhome.com.
