Albert P. "Al" Ravis, age 62, husband of Margaret (Schneller) Ravis of Coventry Township died on monday at his home. Mr. ravis was born in Shamokin, PA a son to the late Albert V. Ravis and a son of Bertha (Poplaski) Ravis of Douglassville, PA. Mr. ravis resided the past thirty two year in East Coventry, he was a graduate of Villanova University and also a member of St. Thomas More Parish of Pottsown. In adition to his wife and mothe rhe is survived by two children a daugter: Julie Ravis and companion Thomas Jameson, and a son: Matt ravis and fiance Suparna Basu. Relatives and frineds are invited to attend his funeral mass on Friday April 8, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Morte Parish, 2101 Pottstown Pike, Pottown PA 19465. The Rev. Hugh J. Dougherty will officiate. His burial will be private. Visitation will be held friday morning at the church from 9:30am to 10:30am. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial gifts may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society (Pottstown Area Relay for Life) at RFL Diamond Credit Union 1600 Medical Drive Pottstown PA 19464.
