Charles David Acker, 66, husband of Emily (Gallagher) Acker of spring City formally of Bridgeport, died Friday at his home. He was born in Norristown to the late Charles Henry and the late Mary (Thoczuk) Acker. A 1962 graduate of Norristown High School. David was employed for over forty years as a Truck Driver driving for various trucking companies until his retirement. Davis was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the USS Little Rock association; he enjoyed Star Trek and had a passion for Trains. He is survived by a daughter: Tammy Harris of Bridgeport and Two grandchildren: Emily Miller and Bradley Harris Jr. also brothers: Carl H.
