Margaret S. (Galie) Stankus, age 64 of Royersford PA died on Friday afternoon in the Phoenixville Hospital after a brief illness. Peggy was born in Phoenixville, daughter to the late John P. and Dorothy E. (Keeley) Galie. She resided most of her life in Limerick and Royersford. Peggy was a graduate of Spring Ford High School; she was employed at the former Diamond Glass Company and also for the Vanguard Investment Group. Peggy also worked as a home health care giver. Peggy loved helping others and gave all her love to her family and all her extended children. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and her flowers. She is survived by a daughter: Shari Stankus of Royersford and a son: Frank Stankus and Katie Bowes of Limerick and her grandson: Frank C. Stankus, along with her loyal dog Sadie. She is preceded in death by a brother: John P. Galie Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday evening at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets Spring City from 6:00pm. to 8:00pm. Memorial services and burial are being held private by the family.
